This is a delicious recipe for babies (from 6 months onwards), toddlers and parents - and all the pumpkin lovers amongst us! The flavour combination of cinnamon, nutmeg and pumpkin is just divine. Moreover, nutmeg is said to help with upset tummies and to make babies calmer, so it is nice idea for an evening meal for your little one.
- 3 spoonful of porridge oats
- 50 ml of water (you can add some flavour by using whole milk or almond milk)
- 2 spoonful of pumpkin puree
- 2 pinches of cinnamon
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
Boil the water (or milk) add oats and stir in the pumpkin puree and let it simmer for 5-10 min until it is smooth and creamy. Finally, add a pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg. Adults can add honey and raisins for a sweeter flavour. Babies younger than one year should not be given honey.
We hope you enjoy it!
