We often read about the benefits of fibre for our overall health and specifically for our gut. Our In-House Paediatrician Dr Sophie is here to answer your top questions about fibre for your little one.
This is a delicious recipe for the babies (from 6 months onwards), toddlers and parents - and all pumpkin lovers amongst us! The flavour combination of cinnamon, nutmeg and pumpkin is just divine. Moreover, nutmeg is said to help with upset tummies and to make babies calmer, so it is nice idea for an evening meal for your little one.
Boil the water (or milk) add oats and stir in the pumpkin puree and let it simmer for 5-10 min until it is smooth and creamy. Finally, add a pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg. Adults can add honey and raisins for a sweeter flavour. Babies younger than one year should not be given honey.
